I have called a special meeting for tonight to consider two key issues in the city. The Charter Revision Commission has issued its final report and will be up for consideration by the Common Council. The Teachers contract is up for a vote with the the teachers today.
If the teachers vote to adopt the contract, the Board of Ed. will meet at 5:30 PM to adopt the contract and then the Common Council will vote to accept the contract. I will post details of the new NEA-Danbury contract later today once voting is underway.
